March 10, 2006: Dr. Haluck and Verefi were featured in the Central Penn Business Journal.

January 25-27, 2006: RapidFire's SmartTutor component was featured as part of the Telemedicine and Advanced Technology Research Center (TATRC) exhibit at Medicine Meets Virtual Reality 14 in Long Beach, CA.

January 15-16, 2006: Verefi exhibited RapidFire and EndoTower at the International Meeting on Medical Simulation (IMMS) in San Diego, CA.

December 16, 2005: Dr. Lake spoke at the Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania's Technology and Medicine Summit in Hershey, PA. The event was broadcast on the Pennsylvania Cable Network. You may view TCCP's press release here.

November 1-2, 2005: Verefi showcased its products at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center's open house for state-of-the-art simulators in the Simulation Development & Cognitive Science Laboratory.

October 17-20, 2005: Verefi launched its latest product, RapidFire/SmartTutor, at its exhibit at the American College of Surgeons in San Francisco, CA.

August 23, 2005: Verefi's CEO Dr. Carol Lake and President Dr. Randy Haluck were interviewed by WGAL TV's News 8 about Verefi's recent STTR grant award.

June 16, 2005: Verefi Technologies, Inc President Dr. Randy S. Haluck and CEO Dr. Carol L. Lake were videotaped for the Entrepreneurial Workshop Project of the Juniata Center for Entrepreneurial Leadership (JCEL). These interviews provide examples of the challenges faced by new entrepreneurs and startup businesses. The videoclips will be available on the JCEL website and used in the entrepreneurship program of emphasis courses at Juniata College.

June 7, 2005: Verefi Technologies and the National Capital Area Medical Simulation Center were awarded a joint Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) grant of $100,000 to develop an Intracranial Hematoma/Burr Hole and Trauma Flap Simulator. This portable device will have extensive commercial applications in military and civilian markets for the training of trauma physicians and mid-level providers of healthcare in emergency settings.

May 11-12, 2005: Verefi participates in Congressional exhibition at Advanced Initiatives in Medical Simulation (AIMS) in Washington, DC.

April 13-15, 2005: Verefi exhibits at the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
